When it comes to classes and workshops at MOCA, I am always looking to offer something different. Something that will get students excited and spark (or renew) their passion for photography! The first stylized wedding workshop at MOCA was AMAZING!!! Don’t believe me? Check out photos from the event HERE, and HERE, and HERE. I think that all the attendees had a great time, and got to expand their wedding knowledge as well as coming away with some beautiful images from the day!
For the second stylized wedding, I wanted to go in a different direction with the event, and decided on a Vintage Romance theme for the day.
Vintage Romance Stylized Wedding Details
When: Sunday, September 29, 2013, 9:30am – 4pm
Where – Virginia MOCA
With this workshop, an entire vintage themed wedding will be created: everything from the ceremony, to bridal party portraits, a reception setup and more. It will include all the little details that make a wedding special, as well as gorgeous models, and limitless photographic opportunities! The day begins with a presentation focusing on the “how to” of wedding photography, walking through all aspects of the wedding day (working with your equipment, photography styles, “must take” shots, editing, etc). During the afternoon, students will have the chance to take what they learned in the lecture and photograph at the various wedding stations set up in the museum and on the grounds.
