At this awesome event, we all joined forces with Lynnhaven River Now and The Lynnhaven TRASHion Show for an extra special Teen Takeover. This unique night out, with an under the sea theme, brought teens from all over Hampton Roads together to celebrate everything art, culture, and fun!

Under the Sea

At Teen Takeover, Hampton Roads teens take over the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art for an evening extravaganza of art, music, mocktails, and free eats. Our current exhibitions explore our dependence on water and celebrate humanity’s reliance on this vital resource so we are joining forces with Lynnhaven River Now and The Lynnhaven TRASHion Show for an extra special night to remember.

If you missed this fun event, there are more in store! MOCA hosts Teen Takeover at the museum once a quarter, so the next event will be taking place in June (it’ll be the perfect way to kick off summer vacation!).
