There are so many places to take pictures in Virginia Beach. When I asked Samm about where she might want to do photos, there was no hesitation. She wanted a Red Wing Park bridal session. Maybe that’s because it’s so beautiful at that park, or maybe because it’s 2 minutes from her house… either way, it was a great place to take pictures!

Red Wing Park Bridal Session

We do a lot of Virginia Beach portrait sessions, but it’s been a long time since since I’ve photographed at this spot.

Usually I try to avoid this spot because there are always a million people, and I don’t want to stress out the client (or myself).

But for the most part, we had Red Wing park to ourselves that day.

Samm came with her mom and Maid of Honor Josephine (who went by T), and we wandered the park, exploring and creating some gorgeous images! It wasn’t hard because she is so flippin gorgeous – and that wedding gown! Wow! Can we just talk about the delicate rose gold details that were stitched into the dress?!

She definitely knocked her husband Andy’s socks off when she walked down the aisle on Saturday!

Samm, thank you for allowing me to come and capture such a special time in your life! You have the sweetest spirit and I know that you, Andy and Maddie are going to enjoy your happily ever after!
