When it comes to wedding trends, there are a lot of similarities and everything can start to look the same. So when brides dare to be different and choose to take a risk with an element of their wedding (or three), it makes our little hearts happy! Carla Walker, of Touché Weddings & Events, LLC was the project organizer and said that the “theme or inspiration for this shoot is “Dare To Be Different”. And we will do just that. The makeup will be a little over the top, very theatrical. Imagine a stage production vs. typical sweet bridal fashion shoot. We really want to showcase a unique style for the modern cutting edge bride.”
Based on the pictures we got, I think we did just that! Carla shares the inspiration board that inspired her for the shoot {HERE}. As a photographer, I absolutely LOVE getting visual inspiration from clients because it helps me see the direction they want to go in.
The day of the photo shoot started bright and early for everyone at 8am, with the models arriving to get hair and makeup done for the session. At 11:30 we all arrived at the bridal shop in Newport News to begin prep and be ready to rock and roll at 12.
The models were amazing and I couldn’t have asked for anything more than these gorgeous women! They brought their all and the results are these stunning photos!
