We headed pretty close to the North Carolina border to capture this Virginia Beach bridal session for Alexis.
It was my first time photographing at Munden Point Park, and this location did NOT disappoint.
This is a 100-acre riverfront park, and has so many beautiful places to capture portraits, and even though we spent an hour there, we probably could have spent another hour exploring and creating magic at this location!

Virginia Beach Bridal Session
Alexis was accompanied by her mom, grandma, and best friend Alex (who also did a rockstar job styling the bride’s hair!).
We spent our time running around the park being silly, laughing, and capturing some seriously extraordinary portraits for Alexis.
I think my favorite part of the day was when Alexis’ mom saw a tree with low branches and said, “hey let’s have Alexis sit in the tree!”
To say that I was doubtful at first would have been an understatement, but once we got the bride settled onto the tree branch, it was pure magic.
Those photos turned out so freaking adorable – and it was quite comical seeing everyone help Alexis get in and out of the tree.
It was definitely a team effort moving the bride and making sure that her gorgeous gown did not get dirty.
