Ever thought about putting a citrus twist on your bridal session?! Yeah, me neither. I love citrus fruits (blood oranges are my favorite!), but I never thought about using them in a wedding context until now. I absolutely love how Brandi Hunley (with As You Wish) incorporated these fruits and greenery elements to create a beautiful tablescape with a citrus twist!

This is probably one of my favorite invitation suites EVER! I absolutely LOVE how simple and elegant it is, and the peaches give it that extra little pop of color that really “wow’s”!

Citrus Twist Bridal Session

With a historic flair, the Ocici house in Suffolk (which provides gorgeous sunset views of the Nansemond River) was the perfect place for this session to take place. The home (which has an old-world Italian feel) was built in the late 1800’s, and was updated and restored in 2011.

There was no detail too small when it came to all the beautiful elements for this citrus twist bridal session. From juicy grapefruits, to tantalizing lemons – even juicy peaches played a part! And that is just the fruit!!! I am so thankful that I was able to photograph Evelyn (the gorgeous bride), and get to know everyone in the Rising Tide group a little better. This event would not have been nearly as amazing without so many wonderful friendors getting together to make their magic! Here’s to many more wonderful events and get together’s – as well as photograph fun!
