The day of this Virginia House wedding it had been threatening to rain all day.
I thought, maybe the weather will hold off, and we will be okay…
Nope!
When I arrived at the venue, we had maybe 15-20 minutes, then it started raining.
You’d be amazed how many photos you can take when the pressure is on!
And even after the rain started coming down, everyone was such a good sport and stayed out in the weather.

Driving up to the wedding I wasn’t sure what to expect.
Usually going to new Venues doesn’t worry me because we are gonna make magic wherever we are.
But on this particular day, we were not going to be shooting inside the Virginia House at all (the museum was closed).
Usually, that wouldn’t be a big deal.
But with the impending rain and cold temperatures, I was worried about the wedding party.

Everything turned out alright, and the day couldn’t have been more beautiful.
Yes, despite the rain!
Everyone was in such good spirits, and we all made some serious magic together!
Just one more reason I love my job as a wedding photographer!
