It was so much fun taking pictures at this Boettcher Mansion wedding in Colorado for Annie and Erik!

Eric and I flew to Colorado to spend a few days in the Golden state and capture all the wedding magic.

We met these two lovebirds last year at a bridal show.

After we did a pretty epic engagement session, we all knew that it was meant to be!

At the end of the session I asked if they had any questions, and Annie said “we just need to know what airline you prefer to fly on” 🙂

Boettcher Mansion Wedding

Annie and Erik’s happily ever after is the greatest story that almost wasn’t.

On their first date (at the Williamsburg Winery), Annie was patiently waiting for Erik to arrive, and he was stuck in a traffic jam.

For those not familiar with Hampton Roads traffic, this doesn’t sound like a big deal.

But those of us that know that torture of having to travel through the HRBT (Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel)… immediately you know why this could be a problem!

The traffic accident made Erik several hours late, and Annie could have left…

But thankfully she waited for Erik, and when he arrived, they both knew this was something special.

That’s why it was so incredibly perfect that their first dance song was “Someday My Prince Will Come” by Barbara Streisand.

Annie and Erik, thank you for bringing Eric and I on this adventure with y’all!

We had so much fun getting to know you and your families, and are sure that life holds nothing but amazing things for you both!
