Hanging out with the Vega family for this woodsy fall photoshoot was a blast!
The last time we did a session together, it was at the beach a few years ago.
The boys have all grown since then – especially when you think that the baby isn’t such a baby anymore!
Whenever Lisa and I get together, we love to catch up, chat about photography, and share what’s been going on in our lives.
I am so thankful for clients who turn into friends.

Woodsy Fall Photoshoot
When Lisa contacted me saying that they were thinking about doing a photoshoot again – I was all in!
The Vega family moved down to NC a little over 6 years ago (when Lisa was pregnant with her youngest).
Since then, her husband has gotten out of the military, and they have embarked on the new adventure of being a retired military family.
But just because Joel is retired, doesn’t mean he is a man of leisure, the family stays busy for sure!
When we were taking pictures, Lisa and I got to talking about life and how things have changed since we last saw each other.
One thing that hasn’t changed is our shared love of Mexican food… which we threatened the boys with during the photoshoot.
(good naturedly, of course)

And turns out, the Vega family ended up going out to a local Mexican restaurant after our session…
