This beautiful, rustic Mountain Acres Lodge wedding reminded me just how much I love shooting smaller, destination weddings! When you have a bride and groom who choose to get away from everything and focus on what they think is TRULY important – it is always a recipe for success!

Personally, I’ve found that the longer we are wedding photographers, the more I’ve come to cherish intimate weddings. I mean, when Eric and I got married, we only had 50 people at our wedding (including vendors!). When you have a smaller wedding (like Paige and Nicks), it allows you to spend time with those that you love and really have a memorable wedding day.

Mountain Acres Lodge Wedding

When Paige and Nick initially met – it was NOT love at first sight. They were both attending Penn State and were working for campus security, and had other things on their mind. When Nick started pursuing Paige, initially she wasn’t as interested as Nick would like. But he soon won her over and these two have been together making memories for quite a while now!

Paige and Nick, thank you so much for trusting Eric and I to come and capture such a special day for you two! We had an amazing time with your families (Paige – your grandpa is awesome! 🙂 ), and hope that you are able to look back on these images and always remember the love you two share!
