February is a short month, but it still kind of blows my mind that it’s already time to share our March 2021 monthly goals!

But for real… where did last month go?!

Honestly there was a lot happening in our lives last month.

We have been trying to implement Q1 goals, and set things up for a profitable year.

There was an epic photoshoot with some gorgeous gals at Selfie WRLD Virginia Beach.

And we lost Emma, my dear mother in law, when she passed away on February 19th.

Even at the best of times – you aren’t prepared for a loved one to die.

It doesn’t matter how much time you had together, it will never be enough.

Losing Emma was hard for a few reasons.

She and her husband Bob live one street over from us, so our kids would go over there a few times a week to hang out with Grandma.

We were both avid cooks, and would often text teach other recipes we liked.

On more than one occasion – I would have to ask to borrow some obscure asian spice needed for a recipe (which she always had).

But overshadowing all that – it completely blew me away that our world could come to a screeching halt – while everyone else just kept going on as if nothing had happened.

Our family was showered with so much love and grace over the last few weeks.

I am SO incredibly thankful for those people who have sent love, warm wishes, flowers, and delicious food.

During such a difficult time, it’s so much easier to bear knowing that there are many, many wonderful people supporting you!

.

So why – you may ask – am I sharing all this personal stuff?!

🤔

I want to use this platform to remind you that our time is fleeting, and no one is promised tomorrow.

Call your parents and say I love you, hug your kiddos extra tight, take that friend up on their offer to do lunch together…

Take advantage of every opportunity to remind the ones you love how special they are.
