When it comes to the photography industry there are surrounded by lots of amazing opportunities to attend conferences, learn more about photography, and grow your business. However, I’ve noticed a distinct lack of hands-on photography mentoring. I definitely learn better by doing, and that’s why I’m excited to go more in-depth with some of the amazing photographers in our industry!

I’ll be honest – trying to find a mentor can be intimidating (or even downright scary!). How can you find someone who will be a mentor and genuinely help you want to grow your business and see it flourish?!

It is incredibly overwhelming when you are just starting out and don’t necessarily know who to turn to!

That’s why Eric and I are always so honored whenever we have fellow photographers come to us for hands-on photography mentoring! We don’t just want you to come and hang out for a few hours, then leave and never talk to us again. We place an importance on building relationships, and seeing those grow and develop in the local community!

What to Expect with Our Hands-On Photography Mentoring Session

  • We will shoot you over a questionnaire before you come over.  This helps us get to know a little about you and where you are in your photography journey so we can make the best use of our time together.
  • 3 1/2 hours to come hang out with us!  You’ll come over to our home studio to share a cup of coffee, dig deeper into creating a successful business, and we will go over any specific topics that you want to cover.
  • New headshots!  It’s so hard to get out from behind the camera, but we want to take time and have fun capturing your personality and brand in these images!

We want you to have all your burning questions answered, so to really make the most of our session together I want you to start thinking about what specifically you want to focus on while we are meeting. Here are a few topic ideas to get your gears turning.
