Doing a family photo shoot for Amy is something that I never could have imagined happening.
You have to understand, I’ve known Amy my whole life… well – her whole life anyway.

When Amy married Kody, it was my first experience photographing a wedding (thank you again for having more faith in me than I did in myself!).
I’ve had the pleasure of doing a family photo shoot for them several times over the years, always being there for the “big stuff”.
But this year, Amy and her blossoming family of 4 moved away to Georgia due to her husband’s job.
So when I found out that she was coming back for a visit and wanted to do family pictures, I jumped at the chance to not only see her, but get to photograph for them again!
We decided that Regent University would make for an awesome location and the big day arrived with perfect, cloudy weather!

In addition to photographing for the Luckow family, I also got to take pictures of Amy’s parents and her sister.
You can’t do family pictures without Grandpa and Grammy!
It was really special to be able to document their family journey, and get three generations of love!
And – of course – we had to get some with Grandpa and his best little bud in them too.
I don’t know who was more of a stinker during the session, Grandpa or Patrick!

For me, one of the coolest things is seeing how little kids develop into their own little person.
I’ve been taking pictures of Patrick for years, and he’s grown into quite the little character!
And even though Anna is younger, that little girl is absolutely fearless!
Amy and Kody are definitely going to have their hands full as these two continue to grow up!
