For Elizabeth and Josh, having a Harrison Opera House wedding always seemed like a no-brainer.

Partially because it’s a stunning venue with so many possibilities, but also partially because Josh’s mom Lisa works for the opera house.

Either way, once they decided on this venue to tie the knot, it was full steam ahead for creating an unforgettable day.

Eric and I have worked with the Virginia Opera for several years now (since 2014), and are very familiar with the space.

Normally we take photos of the yearly Opera Gala that Lisa puts together – they’re so much fun!

But this time,we were there to photograph for an even more wonderful event: Elizabeth and Josh’s wedding!

Enjoy this look at their beautiful wedding day!

Harrison Opera House Wedding

Up to the day of the wedding, we had never officially met Elizabeth and Josh.

They both looked familiar, but it was only afterwards that we realized that we met years earlier at another clients wedding (hey Ashley and Bobbie!).

It’s such a small world, and I’m always amazed at how small our world really is when you consider who knows who.

.

One of the most tender parts of the day was definitely the first look between Elizabeth and Josh.

It’s always a touching moment, but both the bride and groom got so emotional.

So sweet!

And we can totally relate!

When you’ve waited for the right person your whole life, and you finally get your “happily ever after”….

Yeah – Eric and I can definitely relate to that.

So much love, so much joy, and so much laughter!

Elizabeth and Josh, we wish you a lifetime of this together!
