Sisters is probably the most competitive relationship within the family, but once the sisters are grown, it becomes the strongest relationship.

Most of you know that I come from a big family: there are 2 boys and 5 girls, plus my mom and dad (eek!).
Now that I have my own sweet little shrimpies, I look back on my childhood and my mom being a stay at home mom while my dad went out and worked insane hours and all I can think is, how did they do it?!?!
I seriously pull my hair out with two, let alone having any more!

I always tell people that my mom says she made it through her child rearing years because of her time in the Marines!

Growing up, I can’t tell you the number of times people would tell me that I would like having a big family when I got older.
I just rolled my eyes, sure that they were smoking something! Yeah right!

But now that I am grown, I really do love when I’m able to get together with  my siblings, or spend time with my parents. We are SO blessed that almost all of us live right here in the Hampton Roads area, so get together’s are plentiful!

This blog is for my “little” sister Esther. I put that in quotes because she’s like a foot taller than me ^_^

Here are some fun facts about Esther:

  • She is a country chick, complete with cowboy boots and hat
  • She is an aspiring photographer (graduating from TCC this winter with her degree in photography!)
  • Is one of the kindest people I know and will do anything for her friends
  • Has such an eye for detail!
  • Is always down for some outdoor fun (the obsession lately is muddin!)

I was super excited to be able to work with Esther and compare ideas, even if we did run into a little bit of creative differences 😉
Enjoy these pictures of my little sister, I love her so much and am happy to showcase just how gorgeous she is!
