Things For Couples to Do In Virginia Beach

The Virginia Beach oceanfront has lots to keep you entertained!

Walking along the boardwalk is a great opportunity to watch all the tourists go by (people watching at it’s finest!).

Visiting the Atlantic Fun Park is lots of fun, with games, rides and (of course) cotton candy and funnel cake!

Rudee Tours has lots of options to get you out on the water: Fishing trips, Sunset Cruises, Dolphin/Whale Watching, and more!

And if you’re feeling nostalgic, nothing beats bringing a pail and shovel out to the sand to build a sand castle.

Town Center Virginia Beach offers unique shops, delish restaurants, and lots of local flavor!

You can shop for date night outfits at stores like Anthropologie and Monkees (their accessories are awesome!).

Then head over to peruse a new novel at Barnes and Noble. My favorite is to find the most random books for each other!

If you’re in Town Center, then you must got to The Royal Chocolate and try their dipped apples!

(seriously, this will change your life!)

If you are feeling artistic, check out Muse Paintbar and create your own personal work of art.

And close the night out by catching a comedy show at Virginia Beach Funny Bone.

For the Outdoorsy Couple (you know, the ones who like nature)

Topping the list for my husband and I, is the Adventure Park (ziplining through the trees!)

Rent a kayak and paddle through one of Virginia Beach’s beautiful waterways.

Hike one of the many trails at Back Bay Wildlife Refuge or First Landing State Park.

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a lot harder than it looks, but oh so much fun!

Brews and Booze

I’m quite proud of how far Virginia Beach has come in the home grown breweries!

It’s an experience to go on a Taste Virginia Tour, and sample a lot of local places in a short amount of time.

A new personal favorite spot is the Tarnished Truth Distilling Company inside the Historic Cavalier Hotel. Boasting it’s own unique blend of bourbon, whiskey and vodka, the tour is a cool way to spend an afternoon.

Back Bay Brewing Company and Pungo Ridge Winery are great spots of you are hoping to sample a bit of local flavor.
