Sandbridge Beach Portraits

Whether you choose to do Sandbridge beach portraits annually, or every few years – it’s always a good day at the beach!

When we got to the oceanfront, we were all surprised to see miles of brown seaweed all over the beach.

(cue panicky photographer moment!)

But everyone was super pumped, and we didn’t let a little thing like seaweed get us down.

We laughed, played on the beach, told silly stories, and captured some very special moments for this family.

And it was even more special, because the family was celebrating a milestone birthday for Judi!

So about my family. We are from Pittsburgh, PA and are all big black and gold fans. Everyone lives in the Pittsburgh area except me and my boyfriend, Rick. I moved to Boston about 7 years ago. We love to travel, especially when we can meet at a destination together. Ours is definitely a loud, loving, and fun family.

Our family decided to visit Sandbridge because we wanted an easy drive from PA and an easy flight from Boston.

Since we have been to most East coast beaches, we tried something different and this is our first time at Sandbridge, Va.

About our little family:

Nelson is an excellent hunter and fisherman.

Judi is queen bee at her campground.

Jeanette’s life revolves around food and Bravo TV.

Megan a mini Judi, but with attitude, and a great momma.

Garrett is always the life of the party.

Carter is the cutest little stinker ever, but he is the only grandchild at the moment and gets whatever he wants.

By the way, even though Monday was super windy, it was a good picture night. Most especially because Carter hasn’t taken a nap since then!

Rick is a Boston born and raised and is trying to understand our Pittsburgh accents 😂
