Amanda and John’s Lake Tahoe couples session was definitely one for the books!

It snowed, and rained, and there was lots of wind… but above it all, there was love.

So much love.

John said that he hated every minute of it, but I think that if you look hard enough, you’ll see the joy on his face.

Amanda and John, thank you for allowing us to share in your love story! Eric and I had so much fun hanging out with you, and getting to know you both. We can’t wait for the next big adventure with you guys!

Lake Tahoe Couples Session

John and I met through a mutual friend 4 years ago. He was into car audio and I was into drag racing. We talked here and there, but it was always long distance because I lived in North Idaho and he lived in Reno. When I actually became single, we immediately started talking over text. We finally decided after a few months that I needed to come down to visit him. He flew me down and made sure I knew I was the only one for him. We sealed it with a kiss on our special rock in Lake Tahoe.

We continued dating long distance, with me flying down every three weeks or so to come visit when I could. We went on like that for five months before he asked me to move to Reno for him. It was the most irrational, crazy, terrifying decision that I have ever made in my life to move to Reno to be with the man that I loved. And it was the best decision that I have ever made in my entire life! We are coming up on three years together on April 10th. I have two children that he has taken over as his own. He provides them everything that they need in life including love and security from a stable parent. We have openly discussed our want to make sure that we are each other’s lasts for everything.
