Fifth Anniversary Photo Shoot in Norfolk

Wow! It’s hard to believe that we get to share this fifth anniversary photo shoot with Kevin and Jen!

We chose a super rainy day to do photos, and Norfolk’s the Main was a perfect backdrop.

We’ve known Kevin and Jen for a long time and had the pleasure of taking pictures of them for over 5 years now.

I still think that one of the best images we took at their wedding, was when my husband Eric photobombed the wedding party!

Fifth Anniversary Photo Shoot in Norfolk

These two will be celebrating their 5^th wedding anniversary on May 3^rd 2019.

Yippee!

Kevin and Jen dated for 3 years before that, making it almost 8 years together!

Kevin says it’s been a crazy journey, but he wouldn’t trade it for anything.

In that time, Jennifer got her degree in Interior Design and Kevin left the Navy to start his own business (which has grown and morphed into Formidable Web Solutions).

Now they are working together in that business as a POWER COUPLE, designing and hosting awesome websites like the one you’re looking at right now!

“Being married to Jen is easy, as long as I make sure there’s fresh coffee in the morning, we’re good to go!” Kevin jokes.

Judith has been around long enough to agree completely 😉

Jen says “My job is to keep Kevin working on the things we need to get done each day, lots of people can’t imagine working with their spouse like that, but we have a great relationship, and we work pretty well together. I just have to tell him to not scare away clients with dad-jokes.”

As if they weren’t busy enough running their own business, they’ve decided to apply to become foster parents!

The application process for that is long, but hopefully they’ll be approved soon.

Kevin and Jen are really hoping to be able to help local kids who desperately need a place to stay!

They’ve tried several different things, but this seems like the best way to go for them.
