This destination vow renewal photography session was so much fun!

Kenneth and his wife Karen drove down from New Jersey with their two kids, Tre and Hailey.

But the kicker is that Kenneth didn’t tell his wife that they were going to be doing a photoshoot.

When I asked Karen why she thought the family was coming down to Virginia Beach, she said she thought they were just going to get a bite to eat.

Wow!

I bet it was so hard to keep that a surprise!

When we first got to the beach, Karen still didn’t have any idea that we were going to be doing pictures.

So when Kenneth finally told her that he loved her and had hired a photographer to document this stage of their life, she was almost giddy!

These two lovebirds are celebrating 14 years of being married (wowza!).

I always love hearing couples love stories, and seeing these two interact was so beautiful.

Hanging out with their two little kiddos was entertaining!

Tre is going into second grade, and already too cool for school. And at five years old, Hailey is so full of fun and spunk.
Whenever you get kids at the beach, it’s inevitable that clothes stay dry. And if you watch the progression of the photos, Tre and Hailey don’t disappoint 🙂
