Country Engagement Shoot | Lauren+Chase

Sometimes the stars just align and everything goes perfectly at a session: great lighting, perfect weather, beautiful couple… and at this country engagement shoot I couldn’t have asked for anything more awesome than Lauren and Chase! From the time we took the first picture, it was seriously magic! These two might be young, but they are so sure of their love for each other and it shines through in every interaction. Whether they are cracking jokes about old sayings (like “sewing buttons on ice cream” or you’re hanging onto that like a raccoon with something shiny”) or discussing plans for their wedding next year, Lauren and Chase always keep each other smiling. During our photo shoot we were all constantly cracking jokes, I felt like I met my match in being witty (and let me tell you, I consider myself pretty witty 😉 ). I’ve been super excited to post the pictures from this session for a long time not only because these two lovebirds are so amazingly adorable (and made my job super easy!), but also because I finally get to show off my super awesome, top secret location! Whoot whoot! I discovered this place when I started working on a project with the Virginia Historical Society and am completely in LOVE with it! Definitely my new favorite place to take pictures! Lauren and Chase, thank you for choosing me to do your pictures, I love that you two are such beautiful souls and can’t wait until next year when we get to celebrate your wedding day together!!!
