You always worry that the weather will be too hot or too cold. Or that maybe (gasp) the unthinkable will happen and it will rain when you are supposed to do photos. But when we got together with the Sunderland family for their Operation Love session, it was nothing but blue skies!

Operation Love Session

Jill and her handsome hubby picked a beautiful outdoor location for their family Operation Love session, and the weather could not have been more perfect! It can be hard for the family doing a session with Operation Love because even though they are having a great time and enjoying being together, in the back of their minds is the real reason for the session: because a loved one is leaving for deployment.
But that sad thought didn’t linger for long! Everyone had a great time running around and playing in the park, enjoying the gorgeous temperature and soaking up this special time before daddy had to leave.

This little princess had such an awesome time at the photo shoot! She was quite the little diva, always wanting my to take pictures of just her, and then immediately show her the resulting photo! (a girl after my own heart 😉 ) She had so much passion and spunk, she was such a fun little lady!

And this handsome man, wow! Can we just saw what a little heartbreaker he is gonna be when he gets older! This shoot was done a few days before he turned 8, and you can already tell that he has so much personality and is an AWESOME big brother!
