This was my first time doing a Pleasure House Point couples photoshoot – and it definitely lived up to the hype.

I know what you’re thinking…

Judith! You’ve lived in Virginia Beach your entire life and are only just now getting around to doing a session here?!

Trust me – we’re on the same page (I’m just as shocked as you).

Initially we were tossing around a few different locations to do the session.

But when Uriah and Kristen said they had settled on doing a session at PHP, I couldn’t have been more excited!

I went out to scout the location a few days before the photoshoot to get a lay of the land – and it did NOT disappoint.

This place has everything from tall grass, to pine trees, lakes, open spaces… I could keep going.

With 118 acres of water, tidal marsh, sandy shores and maritime forest, we weren’t going to be running out of places to take pictures…

And I didn’t even get the chance to walk all over the nature area yet!

Needless to say, this won’t be the last session you see at this gorgeous location.

But for now, get to know a little more about these two lovebirds.

Where are You Two From and How did Y’all Meet?

Uriah is from Virginia Beach and Kristen is from a small town in New York.

We met through mutual friends at a concert.

What did you do on your first date?

On our first date, we went to the Science Museum of Virginia, in Richmond.

If you haven’t visited The Dome to see a planetary show, you are missing out!

What are some of your favorite things to do together?

Hiking, running, cooking, traveling, trying new foods, going on new adventures, listening to music, going to concerts.

If you had to pick a word for your relationship, what would it be?

Tacos.
