Oh my goodness, it has been such a whirlwind weekend! We have been working a lot, but the highlight was getting to photograph our last wedding of the year as Marjorie and Steven tied the knot (eeekkk!!!). I am still going through all the gorgeousness from their wedding and will slowly be sharing photos from that day, but in the meantime, I wanted to give you guys a glimpse of their beautiful Norfolk Botanical Gardens engagement photos!

Norfolk Botanical Gardens Engagement Session

When Marjorie and I first started talking about what they wanted to do for their session, she knew that she wanted it to be a reflection of their wedding theme (springy and fun!), so we were able to incorporate a few elements that you’ll see again at their wedding reception! And the fact that Marjorie works at the garden make it seem like a no brainer to have some gorgeous photos taken there!

Marjorie said that before doing her engagement session, she hadn’t ever had a professional photo shoot done (gasp!). She said that she and Steven were really nervous before the session, but after they finished, now they want to get pictures done all the time!!! I’m so glad that we were able to make some amazing photos for these two!

Marjorie and Steven, I love you guys so much and wish you a lifetime of happiness together! I know that you two are gonna have a blast together on this amazing journey, just remember to always be joyful (just like you usually are!).
