What is it about a mothers love that is so special? Even before a child is born, the mother forms a connection that will last throughout the rest of their lives. I know for me, even though I didn’t necessarily fall deeply and madly in love with my babies while I was pregnant, once they were born and I got to hold them and kiss them and see what perfect and amazing little people they were, I couldn’t have been happier.
Cyrena is someone who I just know is going to be an awesome mommy! During our session we chatted about how life would be different with a baby, that there might be fewer motorcycle rides, but more baby snuggles. Fewer party nights but more sweet baby kisses. Fewer dollars in the bank account, but more love in the family account.
Being a mommy is tough.
Really tough.
And sometimes it’s going to seem like you can’t go on, or you don’t have the patience, or you just can’t change one more poopy diaper.
But then your mothers love kicks in, you remember that “this too shall pass”, and can enjoy your little one.
Because they won’t be little forever.
My kids are 8 and 4.
I feel like I blinked, and my son Wesley is already so smart and carrying on as if he is already a little man!
