Recently, I had the absolute joy of photographing the beautiful Williams family, right in our very own woodsy location at the Fresh Look Photography home studio. This session was filled with warmth, love, and plenty of giggles as we explored the natural beauty of our backyard sanctuary.

The Perfect Woodsy Backdrop for Family Photos
One of the things I love most about photographing families in this intimate outdoor setting is the natural and relaxed vibe it creates. The towering trees, rustic pathways, and soft sunlight provided the perfect backdrop for this cozy session.
The parents wanted timeless, heartfelt images that would capture the love they share as a family. We started with some classic posed portraits, but before long, we let the little one take the lead. With plenty of snuggles, playful moments, and even some adorable baby giggles, we documented their family in a way that felt authentic and full of joy.
Creating a Relaxed and Fun Experience
One of the things I always emphasize with my clients is that family sessions should be FUN! Sure, we’ll grab a few classic posed shots, but the real magic happens in the in-between moments—the shared smiles, the silly faces, the tickle fights, and the quiet snuggles.
For this session, we let baby boy lead the way, giving him space to explore and interact naturally with his parents. Whether it was snuggling in Mom’s arms, giggling at Dad’s funny faces, or curiously reaching for leaves, every moment was a chance to capture authentic joy.
