They met at their local VFW in Massachusetts.

It wasn’t flashy or fancy, but it was real.

Fast forward to now — these two are planning forever together, and I had the honor of photographing their engagement session at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront while they were visiting my hometown of Hampton Roads. And wow — it was magic.

We met at the North End of Virginia Beach, where soft golden light filtered through the trees.

The ocean breeze had just the right amount of sass, and the whole beach had this relaxed, late-day kind of energy.

Sean kept cracking jokes that made Hailey laugh… like, really laugh.
