I loved this intimate sunset photoshoot because it gave me a chance to make magic with Natisha and Anthony!

These two lovebirds are both active duty in the Navy, and have spent the last four years together.

Military orders have kept them apart for a lot of their relationship, but they are finally stationed in the same place and able to be together!

Yay!!!

Now they get to focus on planning their gorgeous destination wedding at The Resort at Squaw Creek in California.

Intimate Sunset Photoshoot for Natisha+Anthony

How did you two meet?

Anthony and I met in an unconventional way – on the Tinder dating app.

It was while the Navy had stationed us both in Mississippi.

After going on our first date, we just knew… and have been together ever since!

What did you do on your first date?

On our first date was in 2017.

We had dinner together, and then went to the movies to watch ‘Get Out’.

What are some of your favorite things to do together?

We love to eat food, watch movies, go on beautiful hikes, and travel.

When did you know he was the one?

I knew he was the one when I was craving waffles one night at 10 p.m and he drove us to Walmart right then and there so that we can buy a waffle maker and make waffles together. This was within two weeks of dating.

Tell Us Your Proposal Story?

After three years of having a long distance relationship due to both being in the military and being stationed on opposite sides of the country, we drove cross country together to finally move in to his home in Virginia. The next night he cooked us a seafood boil as our celebratory meal. After he plated our food, he got behind me and got down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of his life with him. Of course I said yes!

If you had to pick a word for your relationship, what would it be?

Incredible!

What are three dreams/goals for your marriage?

Create a beautiful family to include kids and two pups
Travel the world
Grow with each other

Tell us what you’re looking forward to most on the wedding day.

Saying our vows to each other in the presence of our family and friends and becoming one family altogether in front of a beautiful Lake Tahoe mountain and forest.
