Even though Lisa and Joel live in North Carolina and are well on their way to having their own little farm, Lisa’s beach loving heart dictated that a Chix Beach photo shoot was exactly what the doctor ordered! With Joel leaving for deployment with the Marines, she wanted to do some updated family pictures and make some memories together!

I’d love to say that – as a professional – I love all my clients the same (I mean, we only work with really awesome people!), but I have to say there is a little man in this family who absolutely steals my heart! Liam is the second youngest in the family (he just turned 6 years old), and I absolutely love him to bits because he is so sweet and loving. Look out Lisa and Joel, that kid is going to be a lady-killer when he gets older!

Get to know this awesome family of six in their own words:

Tell us about your family: What are your hobbies? What is one fun fact about each person?

Dad (Joel) likes woodworking, gardening and tending to the small hobby farm. Mom (Lisa) loves photography and to be crafty when the time is available. Little Joel loves to draw. He is very talented. Jaedon likes to draw and learn about Science and Social Studies. Liam likes to feed the chickens and play outside. Colin likes to follow Dada around the yard and act as grown as humanly possible. He has to keep up with the other three boys, of course.

Describe your perfect Saturday together:

My perfect Saturday with you is for us to take the boys somewhere fun and where they can learn, i.e. an aquarium, zoo, museum, parks, etc. Of course, the icing on the cake is when we can do all these things without being bothered by anyone from work.
Of course if we can squeeze in a date night with just the two of us after a fun Saturday as a family that is always perfect too!

What do you like to do together? Places you like to go?

In addition to the places above, we like to go to the beach, eat out, go to church, and go to the movies. We also like to have our Family Movie Nights on Fridays (whenever possible that is).
